Description
The leash you do not have to wipe down after every walk. Custom waterproof material that sheds mud, rain, snow and lake water. K9 Academy signature swivel clip with heavy-gauge D-ring. Available in 3 ft or 6 ft, five color options.
A waterproof, odor-resistant dog leash made from K9 Academy's signature non-absorbent material. Will not soak, will not stink. Fully washable. Custom-designed signature clip rotates 360 degrees so a spinning dog does not twist the line tight. 3 ft for traffic and close work, 6 ft for casual walks and field training.
Owners of dogs that hit the lake, run in the rain, train on muddy fields, or destroy nylon leashes with smell and wear. Working line Malinois, GSD, Labrador, water-loving breeds. Trainers running outdoor sessions in any weather. Hunters and field trial competitors.
Standard nylon leashes absorb water, get heavy, smelly, and develop mildew. This leash does not. The K9 Academy signature clip is heavier than the wire-bail clips on big-box leashes and rotates freely.
3 ft and 6 ft lengths. Wine, Teal, Olive, Lavender, Green/Yellow combinations. Pick by length first (3 ft for control work, 6 ft for everyday) and color by preference.
Order online, pick up the same day at Leaside or Stouffville. No shipping fees, no courier wait.
Designed and built for K9 Academy. The leash we put on our own dogs.
Engineered for Safety
Developed in-house, this high-security clasp features a dual-locking mechanism for uncompromising reliability. Built for strength yet refined for speed, the intuitive pinch-release system allows for effortless handling without sacrificing security.
Unlike standard nylon leashes that soak up water and drag you down, our Waterproof Leash stays light, clean, and ready for anything — built with a fully sealed, non-absorbent material that won’t hold moisture, odor, or dirt.

I bought this leash for two reasons the clasp and the color ! The lavender color with the clasp gives me a piece of mind that my dog is secured properly with no mishaps. My other leash would detach from her collar this was frightening to experience .Thank you K9 for developing this clasp.
Love the quality and the size and easy to put on the collar. I love it.
love it
Seems like a sturdy leash with a good clasp. Good length
Buckle binds up in sand buy cleans out ok, nice strong leash, waterproof and holds back my GSD just fine
I love this leash so far. In particular I love the attachment clasp. You HAVE to engage both sides at the same time in order to release it. This makes it very difficult for it to happen accidentally. I have had it happen with a standard clasp (the ones where you pull back on the pin to open it) when my dog was wildly spinning around that those leashes came loose. This can't happen here.
The clasp is a bit big but I can live with it given its great function. Another cool thing about this clasp is that to re-engage it is much easier. You only have to push on either side (as opposed to both sides when opening it).
Overall this is very sturdy, and the leash is waterproof. This is by far the best leash I have tried, and I can't think if anything else I would want to add to it.
Great leash. No complaints
great and strong leash.
J adore la clip pour attaché le chien la laisse est très mince donc au froid devient très raide j ai e un peu moins
great company and the leash is very well made
Got the biothane leash a year ago. The quality was above my expectation! Very sturdy & I love the feel while holding it. I use it daily, easy reliable locking system.
