Description
ME-300 Micro Educator
The ME-300 Micro Educator remote e-collar couples our most popular Transmitter, the ET-300 Mini with the all new RX-070 Micro Receiver for small dogs.
The RX-070 is an all around smaller version of the RX-090 Mini Educator Receiver at approximately 20% smaller, 20% lighter and 20% less stimulation. And for even more small dog considerations, the contact points are approximately 20% closer to one another and the collar can be turned 90 degrees on the strap for a "fore and aft" contact point position rather than having the contact points going around the neck.
Like the ET-300, it is still rated for dogs 5 lbs and up, but the newer configuration allows for more options when fitting it to a very small dog.

How to Clean
Regular cleaning helps keep your e-collar functioning properly and prevents irritation on your dog’s skin. The ME-300 Micro Educator system is waterproof, but it should still be cleaned carefully to maintain the electronics and contact points.
Step-by-Step Cleaning Process
1. Turn Off the System
Before cleaning, power off both the transmitter and receiver to avoid accidental stimulation.
2. Remove the Collar Strap
Slide the Biothane strap out of the receiver if possible. This allows you to clean both the strap and receiver more thoroughly.
3. Wipe the Receiver and Transmitter
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe dirt, mud, or saliva from the receiver and handheld transmitter. Avoid soaking the units or submerging them in water.
4. Clean the Contact Points
Dirt and oils can build up around the metal contact points.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to remove debris.
- If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water to wipe them clean.
- Ensure the contact points are dry before placing the collar back on your dog.
5. Clean the Collar Strap
The Biothane strap can be cleaned separately with mild soap and warm water. Rinse and allow it to fully dry before reattaching.
6. Inspect the Equipment
While cleaning, check for:
- Loose contact points
- Dirt in the charging port
- Cracks or wear on the strap
- Corrosion on metal parts
7. Dry Completely Before Use
Make sure all components are fully dry before charging or using the collar again.
How to Turn on
The E‑Collar Technologies ME‑300 Micro Educator uses a magnetic on/off system to power the receiver collar and a standard power button for the handheld remote.
Turning On the Collar (Receiver)
- Locate the Red Dot
On the receiver unit, you’ll see a small red dot. This is the magnetic activation point. - Use the Remote to Activate It
On the back of the remote transmitter there is a magnetic on/off switch.
Place the back of the remote against the red dot on the collar. - Watch for the Indicator Light
The receiver will flash green and you’ll hear a short beep indicating the collar has powered on. - Remove the Remote
Once the light flashes, the collar is on and ready to use.
Turning On the Remote (Transmitter)
- Press the Power Button
Press and hold the power button on the side of the remote for a few seconds. - Check the Screen
The LCD screen will light up, showing the stimulation level and battery indicator. - Confirm Connection
Once both the transmitter and receiver are on, the system is ready for training.
