HoundPower Lite Slatmill — Medium
The Medium size version of the HoundPower Lite. Same manual slatmill concept, sized for medium working line dogs. Built for owners with herding dogs, smaller sport breeds or working line females whose stride matches the Medium frame.
What it is
A manual slatmill with a wooden-slat belt the dog drives with its own gait. No motor. Aluminum frame with steel wear surfaces. Adjustable angle. Quiet bearings. The Medium size fits dogs roughly 30 to 60 lbs comfortably.
Who it is for
Medium working line dogs. Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, smaller Belgian Malinois, working line Australian Cattle Dogs, Kelpies, smaller Pit Bulls and Bull Terriers. Owners with single dogs running a few times a week.
Lite Medium vs Lite Large
The Medium is sized for dogs 30 to 60 lbs. The Large is sized for dogs 50 to 100+ lbs. If your dog is on the border, size up. A Medium frame can fit a small Malinois but it is tight. A Large frame is overkill for a true mid-size dog. Match the frame to the dog's natural stride length.
